Hi, I’m Amy Scialdone the Founder of The Empowerment Key, LLC. I’m passionate about developing and empowering new managers and emerging leaders early in their careers as they navigate through new experiences and challenges of key promotions and transitions.

I believe in creating awareness and perspective to unlock full potential. I believe in supporting and providing talent with the resources they need to get them up to speed with a positive and engaging approach as soon as possible so they can focus on doing great work and empowering their teams vs. being overwhelmed or stuck.

I bring over 20+ years of hands-on experience from the media industry developing, training and coaching talent at all levels from high potentials and first time managers to senior management moving into executive roles. As the Head of Human Resources and Executive Committee Member for the New York Post/ NYPost.com, I led and formalized the HR department as a strong Business Partner, Coach and trusted adviser to executive leadership, managers and employees across editorial, sales, marketing, digital, creative, finance and production.  With my cross functional business experience from Training & Development to Sales Management, I adapted and delivered Management Essentials and Sales Training programs for over 10 years to further develop employees as well as introduced new processes and programs to help the organization thrive.

I am a certified professional coach through iPEC,The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, focused on Energy Leadership, certified as an ELI-Master Practitioner and a COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist; a member of the ICF with a PCC; a C-IQ Conversational Intelligence Enhanced Skills Practitioner; certified in the Hogan Assessment and the LVI Leadership Versatility Index 360 Assessment.

I’m a volunteer coach and mentor to teen girls at Oasis, a haven for women and children as well as a year long Executive on Campus at Baruch College coaching graduate students.
